This project uses both light and wood to create a modern clock that draws inspiration from nature and technology.  The clock was designed with simplicity in mind and uses a single button/rotary encoder to set time and timer.

_drawing

After creating the early concept illustration, I drew several versions of how vector drawings to test the form and functionality. Initial prototypes were laser cut into cardboard.

Early on I built the circuit and began writing the code to perform setting time, telling time, switching modes, and setting a timer.  this was done using a rotary encoder and an arduino nano iot 33. After that, I incorporated the code for the 60 pixel LED ring.
